The Carters' new $2.6 mil NOLA crib used to be a Presybeterian church

Jay Z & Beyonce reportedly just bought a new crib in the swanky Garden District of New Orleans for $2.6 million. Built in 1925, the crib was originally a Presbyterian church before being remodeled into a ballet school and eventually a domicile(more photos after the jump). Damn. That sounds dope, although the Carters reportedly lost a bidding war on an $85 million Beverly Hills mansion to 35-year-old Swedish video game programmer Markus Persson back in February. Looks like they'll be crying over it in their new $2.6 million crib.
